11 years in the ‘business’, I still don’t quite comprehend why people choose to sit at the table right in front of the stage only to spend most of their time TALKING during our sets.

  8. Hmmm in fairness people come out to enjoy themselves … I havent seen any “do not talk when band are playing” signs yet in Singapore.
Perhaps your manifesting an overtly singaporean attitude to entertainment.

nightlife is for enjoyment and relaxing be it with friends or by yourself in mild reflection,to demand that an audience stays quite appears to be quite arrogant as in fact the audience is paying for the performance by frequenting that establishment.
Tell me this which would you rather …no audience or a loud audience…remember no audience means no band.

  9. Thank you Feynman for your comment:)

I think you have misunderstood my post for ‘arrogance’. Pardon me if I gave such impression, but I did not state in my blog post that there should be no talking during our sets. I was merely griping (for blogging’s sake)that I sometimes hear the people sitting in front talking louder than we can play, that’s all.

Please tell me which side of the stage the “overtly Singaporean attitude” is coming from, for we give 100% on stage, for the sake of entertainment. We like to have fun too!

There are two different types of loud audiences, one that participates in the show and one that doesn’t. Who are we to choose which one we would get? We didn’t choose you, but you chose us and we are utterly flattered that you would let us share our love for music with you.

On occasions when there is but a few tables in the crowd, we would still give that 100%. Just for ONE person to enjoy him/herself.

The show must go on, my friend.

    Peace.

  12. I wan to grab the front seats. But Barry always took Rene side… Oh well.. Maybe we should leave the front tables for hardcore fans who like Shirlyn =D

Oh yeah.. its plain rude to talk ALL THE TIME while the lead singer is singing.
