Thank you everybody who came to Wala for Christmas, it was a quiet affair but you guys warmed up by the last set. The pretty waitresses in Santarina hats got up on stage to prance around a bit but the highlight of the evening would have to be the two bartenders stripping Ian’s t-shirt off to Lady Marmalade!

Seeing that we’ve a few days before the end of the year and that we’re not playing any NYE gig as a band, we’d like to invite you guys down for the last Saturday of this month (29th Dec 2007) for super blast from the past, we’ll be putting together as many Karoaoke Saturdays as we can remember so that YOU can sing with us, till the last drop of beer!

We’ve had a wonderful 2007 and are looking forward to 2008, so come celebrate early with us!

Ok, now that almost EVERYBODY has a facebook account, we’re inviting those who still don’t know to our Shirlyn & The UnXpected group. I’m still not sure what to really do with it, besides getting to know the peeps who joined by checking out their facebook pages, so far we’re just sending out reminders of changes for individual gigs if any. Joan will be playing the next two saturdays at Wala, FYI.

I’ve also set up an artist page under Shirlyn Tan so do check that out too and say hi when you do! So far the only person in The UnXpected who doesn’t have a Facebook account is Rene. He’s just too cool!
