It made a pretty good start tonight to have the performers from Singapore Busker’s Festival kick the night off. Tonight’s early start was for a worthy cause as it supports the Bone Marrow Donor Program.
I only managed to meet two performers briefly, Amanda Tee and another guy from one of the bands who’s name I wish I could remember now. If you’re reading this, do gimme a shout out. It was a great pleasure meeting your dad too!
Kelvin Kew is still with us, till thursday. We’re very proud of him setting up Liladrums and we’re ever so happy that he took time out to come help us out. Although he doesn’t know some of the harder rock stuff we play, he’s doing very well, no rehearsals required!
Tonight’s gig wouldn’t have been complete without Guna entertaining us with his drunken wise-cracks and Hokkien song. Let’s not forget he tried to sing his own version of Count on Me Singapore...
Thank you to the folks (Joey, Bryan, Eddie, Sharon and gang, Raymond etc..)who showed great interest in Rock for Wayne. See you folks there next Saturday! (for the rest of you who want to get tickets please send me an email or walk on down to Wala to get yours before thursday, tickets are selling fast!) Get set to be blown away by bands like Astroninja All-Stars, Electrico, Caracal, Force Vomit, The Fire Fight, The Great Spy Experiment, West Grand Boulevard, A Vacant Affair, Humpback Oak!
heheh…welcome welcome…
