OK, apologies for not announcing the time of Cool Club Clan earlier.. Yeah the interview was at 9.30pm and playing live at the station was a tiny bit nerve wrecking. I had Addy Rasidi, our guest guitarist for the concert, playing the guitar solo and I tell you for those who already bought your tickets… watching Addy play is almost worth your whole ticket! We got to play Walk Away but before that Ros made an unexpected request for an impromptu jam of Led Zep so yeah we did the first bit of Whole Lotta Love!
We had to make the guest guitarist change as Andrew Lim had been double booked by someone more famooooose… With Addy in the picture, the song Walk Away sounds totally awesome so we can’t wait for you to hear it at the concert!
I know it’s hard for some to believe but I didn’t really know what to say during the interview… I guess I was just concentrating on not blurting out any swear words :p.
I’d like that thank everybody for making this concert a sell-out. Yes, it’s a sold out event! We really want to make it a night to remember so a lot of preparation has gone into it, this will definitely be different from watching us at Wala or Bala or even Muddy’s. I am writing a lot more these days so the EP should be in the works after the concert and hopefully an album by year end or January. Thank you all for your patience, good things come to those who wait. Hee hee. In fact our first live CD is almost sold out as well, I think there are less than 10 left!
Funny thing is when the DJ Ros asked what song we were gonna play and I said Walk Away, she replied, ‘By Kelly Clarkson??’
