BAD NEWS:
I lost my cellphone last night.
Most people around me know about it by now.
Except that New Paper reporter whose call I was expecting. He had called me earlier in the afternoon yesterday…
Because he didn’t do e-mail interviews. (Which I prefer.)
Because I wasn’t comfortable with phone interviews..(Cos he wanted the answers “like…..today?’)
So I asked him if he could call back between 6pm- 7.30pm.
He didn’t.
I lost my phone at 8.15ish….
I’ll never know if he tried to call. I can’t even remember his name.
GOOD NEWS:
Some of you already know about this. We’re opening for Mr A-Z. I wonder if the crowd (mainly not ours) will appreciate a few NON-COVERS…..

Friday night is for Dream Theater concert. 3 out of 4 of the band is going. Rene is going back to the Philippines.
We’ll be back NEXT thursday.

Time is running out for Papa Jack.
I call him Papa Jack cos when we met, he thought my name sounded similiar to his daughter Charlene. I’ve known the Isprikitik since I was 18. I jammed ‘What’s Up’ (4 Non Blondes) with this band until the crowd at Europa east Coast got a bit sick of it…
Jack is one of the most amazing singers I have ever seen. He’s like the Filipino Freddy Mercury! I didn’t get tired of watching his band week after week, in fact I got so inspired I wanted to be in a band as well.
I have him and the rest to thank for all the encouragement to persue my love for music. I am eternally grateful for the little things I picked up from watching Jack on stage, how charismatic he is and how he never fails to inject humour into every show. I have much to learn, I really miss watching Jack and the rest of Isprikitik.
If you are a musician or a fan and you’ve been touched by Jack’s performance one way or another… Isprikitik is seeking help with funds to help get Jack in the hospital asap.
